Press Brake Installation Agreement | UmproTech

UmproTech Inc. – Press Brake Installation & Client Responsibility Agreement

2025 Edition

1. Purpose

This Agreement defines the terms, responsibilities, and technical requirements for the delivery, installation, and commissioning of UmproTech hydraulic press brake systems at the client's facility in the United States.

2. Scope of Work

UmproTech technicians will:

  • Assemble, align, and level the press brake on the client's site.
  • Connect electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Perform oil fill, pressure calibration, and crowning verification.
  • Calibrate backgauge axes and Delem controller functions.
  • Conduct operational testing and operator training.

3. Client Responsibilities

The Client must:

Prepare the installation area:

  • Clear and level concrete floor (min. 8 in thick for 200T+ machines).
  • Sufficient access for forklifts or cranes (rated ≥ machine weight).
  • Provide rigging services to move and position the press brake.

Ensure correct electrical supply:

  • Proper voltage and amperage available before arrival (see table below).
  • Grounding and main disconnect within 10 ft of the machine.
  • Certified electrician available for final connection.

Provide hydraulic oil and auxiliary materials:

  • ISO VG46 hydraulic oil — quantity according to the machine manual.
  • Clean rags, funnels, and oil containers prepared.

Provide compressed air:

  • Clean, dry air at 100–115 psi (0.7–0.8 MPa).

Ensure personnel and safety readiness:

  • At least one operator available for training.
  • PPE available (gloves, goggles, steel-toe boots).
  • No unauthorized access during installation.

6. Installation Timeline

7. Non-Compliance & Standby Charges

If the site is not ready at the scheduled time:

  • Standby rate: $120 / hour / technician (min. 2 hours).
  • Rescheduling fee: $600 / day / technician + travel costs.
  • Cancellations < 5 business days: 50% of labor + travel.
  • Unsafe or inaccessible site → work suspended until corrected.

8. Warranty and Support

Standard installation includes 30 days of free remote technical support.

Note: Warranty is void if the machine is relocated, rewired, or operated before official commissioning.

9. Client Responsibilities & Liability

The Client acknowledges responsibility for:

  • Site readiness, utilities, and rigging.
  • Providing hydraulic oil and electrical connection.
  • Covering costs for delays, standby, or re-visits caused by unpreparedness.
  • Safety and compliance at the worksite.
Note: UmproTech technicians reserve the right to halt installation if unsafe or non-compliant conditions are found.
