Industrial Equipment Return, Cancellation & Refund Policy

UmproTech Inc sells industrial machinery, fabrication equipment, automation systems, accessories, and related services. Because these products often require freight coordination, configuration confirmation, installation planning, financing review, and written quotations, returns and refunds are handled differently from standard consumer merchandise.

Before purchase: Cart pricing, product pages, and online estimates are not a final delivered invoice unless confirmed in writing by UmproTech. Final order terms may include machine configuration, accessories, taxes, freight, rigging, installation, training, warranty, and financing terms when applicable.

Contact for return or cancellation requests

All return, cancellation, freight damage, and refund requests must be submitted in writing before any item is shipped back.

Return authorization required

No return will be accepted without prior written authorization from UmproTech. If a return is approved, we will issue written return instructions and a return authorization. Items sent back without written authorization may be refused or held at the sender's expense.

Industrial machinery and high-value equipment

Industrial machines, CNC equipment, fiber lasers, press brakes, shears, tube benders, routers, welding systems, laser cleaning systems, modular infrastructure equipment, and other high-value machinery are generally not returnable after shipment unless UmproTech confirms in writing that the item was materially misrepresented, shipped in error, or subject to an approved warranty/service resolution.

Custom, configured, special-order, and financed equipment

Custom-built, configured, modified, special-order, imported, reserved, financed, leased, or buyer-specific equipment is non-cancellable and non-returnable once production, reservation, freight booking, financing documentation, or shipment preparation has started, unless otherwise agreed in writing by UmproTech.

Deposits, reservations, and cancellations

Deposits and reservation payments may be non-refundable if they are used to secure inventory, begin production, reserve a machine, book freight, prepare documentation, or start project-specific work. Cancellation eligibility depends on the written quote, invoice, purchase order, financing documents, and the stage of fulfillment at the time of cancellation.

Freight damage and delivery inspection

Inspect all equipment, crates, packaging, and visible freight condition before signing the delivery paperwork. If damage is visible, note the damage on the carrier's delivery receipt, take clear photos, keep all packaging, and contact UmproTech immediately.

Freight damage claims may be denied by the carrier if damage is not documented at delivery. Concealed damage must be reported as soon as discovered, preferably within 24 hours of delivery. Do not install, operate, discard packaging, or move damaged equipment before UmproTech and/or the carrier provides instructions.

Accessories, parts, and smaller items

Standard accessories, parts, consumables, and smaller non-custom items may be eligible for return only if unused, unopened, in original packaging, and approved in writing by UmproTech. Return shipping, insurance, and any restocking or inspection fees may be the buyer's responsibility unless UmproTech shipped the wrong item or confirms a covered defect.

Non-returnable items

The following are generally non-returnable: installed or used equipment, custom or configured machines, special-order items, electrical components, software/licenses, consumables, tooling that has been used, damaged or altered items, items missing original packaging, and any item shipped without written return authorization.

Refund timing

If a refund is approved, it will be processed after UmproTech receives and inspects the returned item or after the cancellation is approved in writing. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method or by another written method agreed by UmproTech. Bank, card processor, lender, or financing-provider processing times may vary.

Warranty and service claims

This policy does not replace any written warranty terms that apply to a specific machine or invoice. Warranty, service, replacement part, and technical support claims are handled under the applicable written warranty, invoice, and support terms.

Written terms control

If there is a conflict between this website policy and a signed quote, invoice, purchase order, financing document, or written agreement issued by UmproTech, the written transaction documents control to the extent permitted by law.
