Industrial Equipment Support Intake | Evidence-First Service Request

Good Evidence Gets the Machine to the Correct Support Path Faster

Use this intake for UmproTech-supplied equipment or for a paid-service review of eligible third-party machinery. A clear evidence package lets the team separate a component fault from setup, utility, consumable, process or operator conditions before parts or travel are authorized.

Immediate hazard: stop the machine and isolate energy using your facility's approved procedure when there is fire, smoke, exposed live wiring, uncontrolled movement, hydraulic rupture or another safety risk. Contact emergency services when appropriate. Do not wait for online support.

Select the Severity

Safety stop

Operation is unsafe. Machine remains isolated until reviewed.

Production stopped

Machine cannot complete work, but no immediate hazard is present.

Degraded operation

Machine runs with quality, speed, repeatability or intermittent issues.

Question or planning

Training, settings, maintenance, parts identification or future service.

Evidence by Machine Type

  • Fiber laser: controller and source alarms, chiller display, cutting head/nozzle, cut samples, material/gas/pressure, parameters and utility readings.
  • Press brake: control screen, hydraulic pressure, ram/backgauge behavior, tooling, bend sample, material and electrical readings.
  • Laser welder or cleaner: source/chiller alarms, gun/head condition, optics/consumables, material, settings, wire feeder and photos of the result.
  • Band saw or tube bender: control/hydraulic alarms, blade or tooling, clamp/feed behavior, material dimensions and failure video.

Do Not Destroy the Evidence

  • Do not clear alarms before photographing the complete screen.
  • Do not replace multiple components at once without recording the sequence.
  • Do not discard failed parts, damaged packaging or contaminated optics before authorization.
  • Do not permit unauthorized electrical, software or interlock modifications.
  • Do not assume a new setting proves the root cause.

What Happens After Intake

  1. Machine identity and commercial history are checked.
  2. The issue is classified as safety, startup, warranty, paid service, consumable, facility or application-related.
  3. Additional evidence or authorized diagnostic steps may be requested.
  4. The next path is confirmed: remote review, parts quote, warranty evaluation, paid repair, field-service proposal or facility correction.

Submitting the intake does not by itself authorize a technician, free parts, warranty coverage or a response-time commitment.
