The Umprotech all-electric mandrel CNC tube bender for the US market is optimized for precision tube sets up to Ø3.0″ and 20 ft length. Fully servo-driven axes deliver repeatable, stackable bends with tight tolerance control—ideal for production cells and high-mix tube fabrication.

Mandrel support up to 4.0×D CLR

A complete mandrel package with mandrel extractor, wiper die, and pressure die assist supports centerline radii up to 4.0×D, giving process flexibility from gentle sweep bends to tighter layouts. The integrated anti-wrinkle system helps control flattening and surface marks on thin-wall and high-strength tubing at larger CLR values.

Multi-radius tooling and consistent flow

Multi-radius tooling allows several CLR setups on one machine, ideal for assemblies that combine long arcs and localized bends. Auto-lubrication maintains mandrels, dies, and sliding components for long tool life, repeatable surface finish, and reduced manual maintenance in continuous production.

Applications: automotive and motorsports lines, HVAC and refrigeration circuits, hydraulic and pneumatic tubing, furniture frames, medical and lab systems, and light structural tube work.

3D programming, simulation, and anti-collision

The control platform provides 3D programming with simulation so operators can validate bend sequences before running production. XYZ/rotation import streamlines programming from CAD or measuring systems, while anti-collision monitoring helps protect tooling, mandrel, and machine structure when bending complex multi-plane tube shapes.

Automation and lights-out options

Extend capability with an optional booster for tighter radii within the 4.0×D envelope, plus auto loader/unloader systems for hands-off handling of long stock. A weld seam detection option keeps seam orientation under control for safety-critical and cosmetic assemblies.
