Industrial Equipment Warranty & Claim Support

Use this page to prepare a warranty claim for equipment supplied by UmproTech. A warranty review determines whether the reported condition is covered under the written warranty assigned to the machine. It is separate from paid service, preventive maintenance, consumable replacement and facility correction.

The assigned written documents control. The signed proposal, final invoice, machine identity, manufacturer warranty, documented exclusions, maintenance requirements and authorized service communications determine coverage. General website information does not expand or replace those terms.

Before starting a claim

Preserve the evidence

Photograph complete alarm screens, machine and component labels, visible damage, packaging and the operating condition before resetting or replacing parts.

Record the timeline

Document delivery, commissioning, first occurrence, operating hours, maintenance and every change immediately before the condition appeared.

Stop unsafe operation

Do not bypass an interlock, continue after smoke or active leaks, enter energized cabinets or perform optical, hydraulic or electrical work beyond authorization.

Warranty claim process

Machine verification

UmproTech verifies the machine, serial number, purchase record, delivery and commissioning history.

Evidence review

The symptom, alarms, photos, video, operating conditions, maintenance history and timeline are reviewed.

Cause classification

The case may be classified as a possible covered defect, startup issue, facility condition, consumable, wear, contamination, accidental damage, unauthorized modification, application issue or paid service requirement.

Authorized diagnostic step

Additional evidence, remote access, electrical measurements, safe inspection or an authorized technician evaluation may be requested.

Written determination

The next action is confirmed in writing: additional diagnostics, part authorization, return instructions, warranty repair, paid repair, site correction or claim denial with the identified reason.

Required claim information

Evidence area What to include Why it matters
Machine identity Machine model and serial number; source, controller, head or major-component serials when relevant. Confirms the exact covered equipment and assigned documents.
Transaction history Proposal, invoice or order reference; delivery and commissioning dates. Establishes the commercial and warranty timeline.
Fault evidence Complete alarm text, screenshots, photos, video, logs and reproducible sequence. Separates a suspected component from process or utility conditions.
Utilities Measured voltage and phase, grounding, gas or air pressure and quality, coolant, hydraulic and environmental conditions. Facility conditions can imitate machine failure.
Maintenance Lubrication, filters, coolant, optics, tooling, inspection and prior repair records. Shows whether required maintenance and operating conditions were maintained.

Warranty does not automatically establish

  • that every alarm is caused by a defective component;
  • that every replacement part is covered;
  • that consumables and normal wear are included;
  • that freight, travel, labor, rigging, electrical work or production loss are covered;
  • that any third-party technician is authorized to perform work;
  • that an onsite visit is required as the first diagnostic step;
  • that a component can be discarded before inspection;
  • that a third-party modification remains covered.

Parts and return authorization

Do not ship, discard, disassemble or replace an allegedly failed warranty component without written direction. When a return is required, UmproTech will confirm the component, return address, packaging requirements, shipping responsibility, required documentation and inspection path. Sending a part without authorization does not establish coverage or reimbursement.

Warranty questions

How long is the warranty?

The duration and scope are stated in the documents assigned to the specific machine and transaction. The written proposal or manufacturer document controls.

Are consumables covered?

Consumables and wear items are treated according to the written machine and component warranty and the verified cause of failure.

Can I hire a local technician and send UmproTech the invoice?

Only work authorized in writing can be considered for warranty treatment. Unauthorized diagnosis, repair or modification may not be reimbursed and can affect coverage.

Is technician travel included?

Travel, lodging, labor and related field-service costs are included only when the assigned written warranty or separate authorization states that they are covered.

What happens when the problem is not covered?

UmproTech may provide a paid parts quote, remote-support path, repair proposal, field-service scope, training option or facility-correction recommendation.

Start with complete evidence

Submit the machine identity, transaction reference, complete alarm information, photos, video, utility readings and maintenance history.
