UmproTech industrial machinery
Review machines, applications, facility requirements, delivery, installation, training, warranty, service, parts, rental, and financing pathways.
Reuse a suitable machine platform and replace obsolete CO2 technology with a modern fiber-laser system. UmproTech evaluates industrial CO2 laser cutting machines for fiber laser conversion, controller modernization and complete electrical retrofit.
Not every CO2 machine is a good conversion candidate. The machine frame, gantry, motion system, table, enclosure, extraction, electrical architecture and required cutting performance must be reviewed before a project is approved.

A fiber conversion normally replaces the laser-generation and beam-delivery systems while retaining only the mechanical components that remain accurate, rigid and safe. The final scope is determined by engineering, not by machine age alone.
A new machine may be a better investment when the bed is damaged, motion accuracy is poor, the gantry is unsuitable for the required acceleration, the enclosure cannot be made safe, or the conversion requires replacement of nearly every major system.
The project must also match the material mix. Fiber lasers are highly effective for metal cutting, while CO2 systems can remain useful for nonmetal materials or specialized applications. The production requirement should drive the decision.
We can review CO2 laser and older fiber-laser platforms from major European, North American and Asian manufacturers, including TRUMPF, AMADA, Bystronic, Mazak, Mitsubishi, Prima Power, Salvagnini, LVD, Cincinnati and other established or custom machine builders.
We can also evaluate control and component upgrades involving compatible systems from FANUC, Siemens, Beckhoff, Mitsubishi, FSCUT, CypCut, Raytools, BOCI, Raycus, MAX Photonics, IPG Photonics and other industrial platforms. Final selection depends on engineering requirements and supportability. Brand names identify compatibility only; UmproTech is not affiliated with these manufacturers unless specifically stated.
No. Mechanical condition, motion performance, safety, table design, enclosure and total project economics determine whether conversion is practical.
Cost depends on laser power, working area, controller, drives, cutting head, chiller, gas system, electrical rebuild, installation and the number of original systems that can be reused.
Sometimes, but a full controller retrofit may be recommended when the original system is obsolete, difficult to integrate or unable to support the selected fiber hardware.
They may be reused if condition, dimensions, load capacity, access, extraction and safety are suitable.
Performance depends on the retained mechanics, acceleration, precision, rigidity, selected components and integration quality. Acceptance criteria should be defined before the project begins.
Yes. Automatic loading, unloading, sheet storage, conveyors and part handling can be included when the layout and interfaces allow.
Send the machine documentation, photos, production requirements and target power. We will identify whether a conversion, partial modernization or complete replacement is the practical path.
