UmproTech HBF 135/3200 – 135 Ton 6-Axis CNC Press Brake, 3200 mm

The UmproTech HBF 135/3200 is our flagship 135-ton, 6-axis CNC press brake for US fabrication shops and OEM plants that live on high-mix, high-precision bending. With 135 tons of available force across a 3200 mm bed, a fast 6-axis backgauge and a Delem DA-66T control, it is built to sit in the middle of a modern sheet metal line, run all shift long and keep angles in tolerance without constant babysitting from your best operator.

Capacity: 135 ton · Bending length: 3200 mm (126 in) · Backgauge: 6-axis CNC · Controller: Delem DA-66T

System overview & positioning for US shops

The HBF 135/3200 is designed as a “core” press brake for US job shops and OEMs that run real production, not occasional demo parts. It targets the sweet spot of work most fabricators live on every day: 10–135 ton bending work on medium to heavier gauges, with a constant mix of long panels and detailed parts.

Typical customers use the HBF 135/3200 as a main forming center for:

  • High-mix, short-run jobs where setup time and repeatability directly impact margin.
  • Repeat OEM production where angles and flange lengths must stay tight across multiple shifts.
  • Long parts up to 3200 mm that need to be bent in one piece instead of split and welded.
  • Cells built around fiber lasers, punch presses and welding stations that need a reliable bending stage.

Instead of forcing you into an oversized “big brake” or underpowered light-duty machine, the HBF 135/3200 is sized to be the everyday workhorse in a modern US fabrication environment.

Key advantages for US buyers

  • Built for real production, not demos: 135 tons of controlled force for the material and thickness range most US job shops and OEMs actually run every day, with capacity to handle tougher jobs without jumping to a much larger brake.
  • 3200 mm (126 in) work envelope: Bend doors, panels, cabinets, sidewalls and frames in one hit instead of splitting, welding, straightening and reworking long parts.
  • True 6-axis CNC backgauge: Multi-axis positioning (X, R, Z1, Z2 with Y1/Y2 control) supports staged tooling, complex geometries, mirrored parts and fast changeovers on high-mix work.
  • DA-66T = less trial, more parts: Modern Delem interface with 2D/3D programming, bend simulation and collision checks to shorten setup time, reduce “first article” scrap and standardize best practices.
  • CNC crowning + premium hardware: Consistent angles along the full length, job after job, with backgauge and ram feedback tuned for repeatability across shifts and operators.
  • Designed to drop into modern lines: A natural downstream match to fiber lasers, punch presses and saws in US fabrication and OEM production cells, with the control and axes needed to keep up with fast cutting equipment.
  • High-mix friendly: Tooling, backgauge and CNC are configured for constant changeover – from prototypes and fixtures to regular repeat parts – without locking you into a “one-part-only” production mindset.

Key technical specifications & bending envelope

Bending force: 135 ton

Sized for day-in, day-out forming of mild steel, stainless and aluminum within the most common thickness ranges. Tonnage charts are used to verify safe loading by material, thickness and bend length so your team knows exactly where this brake is the right fit.

Bending length: 3200 mm

Handles long workpieces — doors, enclosure panels, machine covers and frames up to 3200 mm (126 in) — minimizing the need to split, weld and straighten components in secondary operations.

Open height & stroke: application-tuned

Open height and stroke are configured to support tall tools, return flanges and box work typical of panels, cabinets and structural components. Final values are confirmed against your part drawings and tooling during the proposal process.

Throat depth: deep throat design

Throat depth supports bends that are set back from the part edge, enabling channels, internal flanges and parts that cannot be done on “short throat” brakes without compromise.

Backgauge architecture: 6-axis

Multi-axis backgauge (X, R, Z1, Z2 with Y1/Y2 ram control) supports complex part positioning, staged tooling setups and quick reconfiguration between part families.

Detailed bending diagrams, tonnage charts and recommended V-die selections are supplied so programming and setup are grounded in real data, not guessing.

CNC control, software & operator workflow

Controller: Delem DA-66T

Industrial touchscreen CNC with a familiar Delem interface, widely used in US fabrication. Operators moving from other Delem-based brakes adapt quickly, reducing ramp-up time and training cost.

Programming: 2D/3D capability

Supports 2D and (where configured) 3D programming with bend sequence suggestions, simulation and collision checks. This helps reduce trial bends, especially on new parts and more complex geometries.

Job & tool libraries:

Stores part programs, material data and tooling setups so repeat jobs can be recalled quickly and run consistently, even if different operators are at the brake on different shifts.

High-mix workflows:

Designed for high-mix environments with frequent changeovers. Job lists, standard tooling “recipes” and clear on-screen prompts help keep setups predictable and fast.

Connectivity (where supported):

Options may include network connectivity for program transfer, backup and integration into shop-floor systems, depending on the selected configuration and your IT requirements.

Accuracy, repeatability & mechanical design

Frame & ram construction:

Welded steel frame and precision-machined bed/ram surfaces provide the stiffness required for consistent bending in the 135-ton class. The structure is engineered to limit deflection within the expected work envelope.

Guides & ram control:

Guided ram motion and Y1/Y2 control maintain parallelism and alignment. The system is designed so that adjustments and maintenance can keep accuracy within spec over years of production use.

CNC crowning:

CNC crowning compensates for bed and ram deflection under load, keeping angles consistent from left to right on long parts, reducing the need for “chasing” angles with manual adjustments.

Backgauge precision:

High-precision backgauge hardware and drives support tight flange tolerances and repeatable positioning, which is critical when parts must fit into downstream weld fixtures or assemblies without rework.

Detailed positioning and repeatability specs are defined in the technical proposal for your HBF 135/3200 configuration.

Capabilities & typical applications

The HBF 135/3200 is designed as a bending center that can flex between prototypes, fixtures, one-offs and stable production. It can be used as a standalone forming cell or integrated into a fiber laser–to–weld flow, depending on your plant layout.

Key questions US buyers ask about HBF 135/3200

Is 135 tons enough for my parts?

It depends on your material, thickness and bend lengths. We run your parts through tonnage calculations and tell you directly whether the HBF 135/3200 is the right fit or if a different capacity makes more sense long term.

How does the HBF 135/3200 fit with my existing lasers and weld cells?

We look at your line as a whole – cutting, bending and welding – and help position the brake so it does not become the bottleneck. That includes advice on part flow, tooling strategies and where automation makes sense.

How steep is the learning curve for the DA-66T?

Operators with experience on modern CNC brakes adapt quickly. For teams moving from older conventional brakes, startup training and use of job/tool libraries help shorten the learning curve and standardize “good” setups.

What about service and support?

We specify critical components and wear parts up front and can help your maintenance team with preventive maintenance schedules and recommended spares, so the brake stays in production instead of waiting on parts.
