RFQ tracking codes — internal lead source map
Purpose: use these codes to track phone, text and email leads that come from the website when checkout conversion does not represent real industrial machinery sales.
How sales should use it
- When a lead calls, texts or emails, ask: “Which page or code are you looking at?”
- Add the code to CRM, Gmail label, quote file, Shopify draft/customer note or sales sheet.
- Track outcome: New lead, quoted, financing sent, demo booked, closed won, closed lost.

Compare Shopify sessions and source-code leads. If a page gets traffic but no source-code leads, improve the CTA, shorten the page, or move the RFQ block higher.
