Power & Gas Requirements (Typical)

  • Fiber Lasers: 208–480V, 3‑phase (40–80A); Assist gas N₂/O₂; shop air 90–120 psi.
  • Handheld Welders: 220–240V, 1‑phase (20–30A); Argon shielding gas.
  • Press Brakes: 208–480V, 3‑phase (30–60A); shop air for backgauge.
  • We provide exact specs and can connect you with gas suppliers.

Site Readiness Checklist

  • Door & aisle clearances for machine and forklift
  • Concrete floor levelness & load rating confirmed
  • Electrical disconnects & breakers sized per spec
  • Assist gas bottles/bulk ready; regulators/hoses on site
  • Dust extraction/chiller placement planned

We maintain and support. Need more power or bed size? Swap/upgrade without downtime; buy-out credit available.

What are the typical rental terms?

Monthly rentals with 1–6 month terms are most common. Longer terms available. Credit check and COI required.

Do you provide gas and power specs?

Yes. We share electrical (amperage/phase) and assist-gas (N₂/O₂/Ar) requirements and can connect you with local suppliers.

Can I convert my rental to a purchase?

Yes. A portion of your paid rent can be applied as a buy-out credit toward a new UmproTech machine.

Do you cover maintenance and parts?

We include routine maintenance and common wear parts. Damage from misuse is billable; we’ll quote before work.
