Precision Metal Bending Solutions

Our Capabilities

From thin-gauge sheet metal to heavy plate, our CNC press brakes and experienced operators deliver repeatable results across complex bend geometries and tight tolerance requirements.

Machine Capacity

30 – 250 ton CNC press brakes to cover everything from light-gauge brackets and enclosures to structural components and large weldments.

Max Bending Length

Up to 12 ft (144 in) bending length for long parts such as channels, architectural trims, door frames, guards, and OEM panels.

Tolerances

Angle accuracy to ±0.5° with CNC angle programming and test-bending, plus consistent flange lengths on repeat production.

File Formats

We accept DXF, DWG, STEP, and PDF files. Our engineering team can also reverse-engineer from physical samples or sketches.

Technical Specs & Materials

Use this guide as a starting point for your project. Actual limits depend on material grade, part geometry, and required tolerances — send us your drawings and we’ll confirm manufacturability.

We specialize in precision bending of flat laser-cut blanks into finished components. Typical material types include:

  • Carbon steel: hot-rolled, cold-rolled, pickled & oiled, HRPO
  • Stainless steel: 304, 316, 409 and similar grades
  • Aluminum: 5052, 6061 and other common alloys
  • Galvanized & pre-painted sheet: for architectural and enclosure work

For complex parts, we simulate bend sequences, account for bend deductions, and choose the right tooling to minimize marking and distortion.

Need something outside these ranges? Our team will evaluate your part and provide alternative forming or design recommendations.

Material Typical Thickness Range Max Length (Guide)
Mild Steel 18 ga – 3/8" Up to 12 ft
Stainless Steel 20 ga – 1/4" Up to 10–12 ft
Aluminum 16 ga – 1/2" Up to 12 ft
Galvanized / Pre-painted 22 ga – 14 ga Up to 12 ft

Values are typical for reference only. Final capability depends on your specific part, grain direction, and required bend radius.

Our Precision Bending Process

A proven, engineering-driven workflow that keeps your project on time and within spec — from first CAD file to final inspection.

1

Design Review

We analyze your CAD files, confirm bend deductions and K-factors, and flag any manufacturability risks before we cut metal.

2

Tooling Setup

Our team selects the right punch and die combinations for your material, thickness, radius, and cosmetic requirements.

3

Precision Bending

CNC-controlled forming with backgauge positioning, test bends, and real-time monitoring to lock in repeatable angles across your run.

4

Quality Control

All critical dimensions and angles are inspected; we can provide first-article inspection reports and measurement documentation on request.

Press Brake Forming FAQ

Quick answers to common questions about our CNC press brake services. If you don’t see your question here, send us your drawings and we’ll respond with a tailored recommendation.

What materials can you bend on your press brakes? Click to expand
We routinely bend carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, galvanized sheet, and pre-painted coils. If you’re working with a specific alloy or finish, mention it in your RFQ and we’ll confirm the best tooling and process.
What is your maximum bending length and tonnage? Click to expand
Our CNC press brakes range from 30 to 250 tons with maximum bending length up to 12 feet. This covers most light- and medium-gauge industrial, architectural, and OEM parts.
What tolerances can you hold on formed parts? Click to expand
Typical angle tolerance is ±0.5°, and dimensional tolerances in the ±0.010–0.020 inch range are achievable depending on material thickness, part size, and geometry. For critical features, we can work with you to define inspection plans and gauge strategies.
How fast can you complete a press brake job? Click to expand
Standard lead time is 3–7 business days from drawing approval and PO. For repeat parts or urgent situations, we can often offer same-week or even next-day bending depending on current load and material availability.
Do you offer design help if I only have a sketch or sample part? Click to expand
Yes. Our engineering team can convert sketches, photos, or physical samples into production-ready CAD, optimize flat patterns for bending, and recommend changes that simplify manufacturing and lower cost.
Can I rent time on your press brake instead of outsourcing the whole job? Click to expand
Absolutely. Our on-site press brake rental program lets your team run parts on our equipment under our supervision. You get access to industrial CNC forming capabilities without committing to a full machine purchase.
