An 8 ft press brake is a strong general-purpose production size for job shops, enclosures, cabinets, panels, HVAC work and fabricated components. UmproTech offers application review for 63-ton and 80-ton class systems with controller, tooling and startup options.

Selection points

  • Material type and grade.
  • Common and maximum thickness.
  • Longest bend and full-length capacity requirement.
  • Inside radius, flange size and bend sequence.
  • Required controller, backgauge and repeatability.

Available package review

  • Hydraulic frame and 8 ft working length.
  • E22, TP10S or application-appropriate control package depending on model.
  • Standard segmented punch and die, with optional gooseneck or special tooling.
  • Backgauge, safety system and optional upgrades.
  • Freight, unloading, rigging, installation and training.

Do not assume full-length heavy bending from the tonnage label. Capacity depends on V-opening, material strength, bend length and forming method. Send a drawing for verification.
