5 ft Compact Hydraulic Press Brake
A 5 ft press brake is a practical choice for smaller fabrication shops, HVAC work, brackets, repair parts, panels and short production runs. The machine should be selected by the actual bend—not only by the advertised tonnage.
Best fit
- Light-gauge material across much of the working length.
- Shorter bends in thicker mild steel or aluminum.
- Shops with limited floor space that still need hydraulic repeatability.
- Operators moving up from manual bending or outsourcing.
Application limits
Full-bed capacity is much lower than short-bend capacity. On a compact 30-ton class machine, heavier material such as 3/16 inch or 1/4 inch is normally limited to a shorter bend length and must be calculated around the V-die opening, material grade and required radius.
