A drawing and bend sequence help explain the need for the upgrade. Include material, thickness, smallest flange, tooling, the required dimensions and how the part is currently positioned.
Start with the information you have. Existing manuals, schematics and component-label photos can be added to the review.

From machine photos to project scope
Identify the control, mechanical condition, interfaces, available records and the production requirement.
Confirm retained and replaced systems, parts, labor, site needs and the planned checks before scheduling.
Include installation, calibration, representative-part testing and operator handover in the agreed scope.
Guarding, emergency-stop functions and machine interfaces are part of the integration review. Site requirements and any validation work belong in the approved project scope.
Before you request an upgrade
A backgauge-only project can be evaluated where the existing machine control and interfaces support a defined integration path. Include the ram-control model, gauge photos and the work you need to perform.
The starting axis arrangement matters. A label may include ram motion or describe only the backgauge. Send the exact existing axes, if known, and the required movements. Compatibility, mounting space and control architecture determine what can be added.
The number alone does not specify a package. Request a written map identifying ram, gauge and any auxiliary movements separately, with their purpose and limits. A project is evaluated against the actual parts and machine.
That depends on the beam, drive arrangement, available space and control. The review may identify an upgrade to the existing gauge or replacement of the assembly. Send photos and a drawing showing the required positioning.
Angle variation also requires review of the ram, hydraulics, tooling, material and the bending process. Describe both the positioning problem and the angle variation so the service scope addresses the reported issue.
Provide its full model and installed configuration. The required axes, interfaces and software functions must be checked before the controller is included as a retained component.
The proposed scope should define the positioning and representative-part checks, materials, tooling and acceptance criteria. Agree on those requirements alongside installation, calibration and handover.
